The sturdy fibres of the IMPASTO range are slender but short and densely packed- this allows the brush to move seamlessly through the thickest layers of paint and is great for rough surfaces, wood, cement or textured canvases. As the name suggests, this is excellent for impasto techniques with heavy body oil and acrylic media. They are made according to certified green manufacturing with sustainable wood handles and rust proof steel ferrules. Brushes are handmade in Germany at the da Vinci family owned factory since 1890.
